The new WordPress 3.0 is out and full of new stuff to play with! It’s a great improvement for us as developers and as the end user. Theme developers have new APIs that allow them to easily implement custom backgrounds, headers, shortlinks, menus (no more file editing), post types, and taxonomies.

This is great news for me as I use WordPress for many projects and have been waiting on this for some time now. I have downloaded a copy and have already played with it.
